Unashamedly Updating - SEPTEMBER

At the end of September, Mom had to take a class in Atlanta. Jack got to go to the Box Baby Ranch and Spa to hang out with his cousisns. He got plenty of exercise at the Baby spa such as stair climbing.
Look quickly, or you might miss him!

Jack also helped cousins with some lego-building.
I bet this tower won't stay up long.

Of course, there were also chores to do:
Riding the tractor

Feeding the chickens

After chores, there was pleny of time for relaxing and eating good food!
Fat & Happy

Jack also had plenty of visitors:
Aunt Jane & G-ma

and - the biggest suprise of them all:
A visit from Daddy!

Unashamedly Updating - AUGUST

In August we went to Minnesota to see Dad. One of the very best things we did was to take a trip to the Science Museum of Minnesota. Here is our "viral video" of that trip.

Gee, Jack, most kids don't get to play with the flu!

Unashamedly Updating - JULY

I have really been neglecting the blog due to my busy 6-day-a week work schedule. As the holidays come up, I'll have some more free time to update. Each day that I have off from work, I'm going to update month by month until we get to the present. Today is a snow day, so I have some free time while Jack sleeps. Pray for more snow, longer naps, and more updates! - JFH
In school this month they are teaching the kids how to eat with a spoon. I'm not sure what "grade" Jack got on this one, but as an art installation, he's A+. The pretty girl next to him is called Paz. That means gold in Hebrew.

Jack tuned one on July 22nd. Dad, Mom, Granny, Jane, and Jen Berger came to celebrate. Jack enjoyed taking off all the wrappings, but he especially loved playing with his new blocks and his new cars.

Hmmmm... Mike thought Jack looked a lot like Mom as a kid. I wonder why he thought that while Jack was shoving ice cream into his mouth?

Jack isn't really sure what to do with his new tricycle. Don't worry, Jack, we'll show you very soon!

Early Steps

I apologize that this video is almost two months old by the time I published it. Here's a video of some early steps at the beginning of July. Jack started taking a few steps in June and was really testing his sea legs by July. In this video he's taking a few "drunken sailor steps" Now, of course, he's running!

Goat Squeezing

Jack is a big fan of animals. Here is a funny video of us at the petting zoo.

Some day Mom will learn not to bring goat food into the pen!

Jack Goes to Minnesota

Jack and Mom went to Minnesota to visit Dad. Of course, we went to The Mall. They have a pretty amazing Lego exhibit and Jack even got to play with some Legos. Here's Dad showing Jack the roller coasters.

Uh-oh, Jack is not tall enough to ride this ride. Better luck next year, Jack. It looks like you'll need to grow about three more feet.
The next day we went to the Minnesota Zoo. Jack loved watching the otters play.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear - what do you see? I see Jack Foster Harris looking at me.

Daddy's shoulders are a great ride!

Jack was brave enough to touch a starfish in the tidal pool, while some older children were afraid of the spiny-skinned creatures. Jack is not afraid of anything except boredom.

We even visited a local beach. Here's Dad and Jack checking out their shadows at the water's edge. Jen B was wrong, the sun DOES occasionally shine in Minnesota.

Jack is so tall on Dad's shoulders.

Jack and Mom had a great weekend. We can't wait to see Dad again very soon!

Georgia Comes to Jack

Just as soon as Jack left Georgia, Georgia came to see Jack! G-ma and Cousin Elizabeth came to visit in June. Cousin is teaching him how to ram his new dump truck into the furniture!
Cousins teach the funniest things. Here's Jack and Cousin chasing the ducks at Ashley Pond. I bet Eve would like to be a part of that.

Jack visits Chimayo with Aunt Jane, G-ma, Mom & Cousin Elizabeth. Jack wishes they would come visit every month.

Jack visits butterflies and fish

Jack got to go to the botanical gardens and aquarium in Albuquerque this June. He was pretty impressed with the butterfly pavillion, but his favorite thing was the toy garden train that moves when you push a button.

Jack Goes to Georgia

Jack and Mom went to Georgia this May. Jack played hard while mom went down to Atlanta to work. Here is Jack playing with his cousins in G-ma's pool. Sometimes, Jack had to go gather eggs for supper. Those chickens sure do lay a lot of eggs in the summertime, don't they?

Look, Dad, I made the All-Star team! Jack got to go see cousins play in a baseball game. He can't wait until he's in Little League, too.

Jack Relaxing with his G-ma.

Learning to walk. Cousins are a lot of fun!

Spring Pics

We have lots of good spring photos to share. Here's Jack celebrating the first pitch of the season. Go Red Sox!

Jack riding the dog. Suprisingly, Eve is more patient with Jack than Dag is. Notice that Dag is nowhere to be seen in this photo.

Snow day! Let's go for a walk!

Snow Photos

The Box Family visited Jack in Feb 09 for a ski holiday. Front row: Patrick, Frosty, Zane. Back Row: Jennifer, Mike, Jack, and Erin

Some photos of Jack from the photography of Erin Box. Erin likes to help get Jack changed. I think Jack would prefer to stay naked if he could, but baby, it's cold outside.

My First Christmas

Jack went on his first airplane ride to Georgia this Christmas. There were so many loving arms to hold him. I wonder if he got a little spoiled from all the attention?
